Quito orange

Misc Fabricquito/fa1/bri

Quito Orange has a warm, sunbaked look with a softly mottled surface that catches the light across its woven texture. The colour reads as a muted terracotta orange rather than a bright citrus shade.

About this fabric

Woven in 85% viscose and 15% linen, this fabric has a gently slubbed handle and a relaxed, textured finish that gives the colour real depth. The orange tone is softened with earthy rose and clay notes, so it feels warm and lived-in rather than sharp or glossy. With a width of 142cm and suitability for curtains, blinds and upholstery, it works well where you want colour with a tactile, natural character. Spot clean only and iron safe, it is a practical decorative fabric without fire-retardant treatment noted.

How to use it

Use Quito Orange on an accent chair, cushion set or a pair of lined curtains to bring warmth into stone, oak or neutral interiors. Its muted terracotta cast pairs especially well with flax, chalk white and aged brass.

A warm terracotta tone that brings easy character to relaxed upholstery or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
