Toba Spiirulina

Curios Weaves FabricSAF0451-04

Toba Spiirulina shows a neat vertical stripe with a calm sage-green rhythm against a pale natural ground. The woven surface gives the design a dry, textured finish that feels orderly but not stark.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Weaves collection is a substantial woven textile with a usable width of 143 cm and a weight of 620 gsm, giving the cloth a clearly firm, upholstered handle. The repeat is small and disciplined at 4.5 cm vertically and 7 cm horizontally, which keeps the stripe effect crisp and tailored across the surface. In this colourway, the green reads as a soft, dusty sage rather than a bright herb tone, and it sits lightly against the cream background for an easy, relaxed contrast. The fine, densely woven structure is visible in the close grain of the cloth, adding a subtle tactile texture that suits both furniture and soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use Toba Spiirulina on a classic armchair, dining seat or boxy bench where the slim vertical stripe can sharpen the silhouette. Its muted green and pale ground also work well with oak, linen and other quiet natural finishes.

A muted sage stripe that adds quiet structure without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
