About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Highgrove collection has a substantial 450 gsm weight and a generous 142.5 cm usable width, giving it the presence expected of an upholstery-weight cloth. The printed brocade-style pattern repeats every 63.5 cm vertically and 47.5 cm horizontally, with scrolling floral trails, small animals and garden motifs set over the blue ground. In this colourway the sapphire shade feels cool, deep and polished, while the pale motif holds its edge clearly and the tiny accents of pink and soft gold add warmth. The overall effect is decorative but controlled, with enough body and visual depth to suit seating, cushions or statement decorative panels.

How to use it

Pair this sapphire colourway with ivory paint, walnut timber and brass details to echo its formal, country-house character. It also works well as a statement armchair fabric where the blue ground can anchor a lighter scheme.
