About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Highgrove collection is a substantial textile at 450 gsm, with a tightly woven handle and 163 threads per cm. The 142.5 cm usable width and 63.5 cm vertical repeat make it practical for larger upholstered pieces where the scrolling landscape motif can be matched cleanly. On this pearl colourway, the design feels warm and understated, with creamy ivory space between the motifs and a soft metallic-like gold that catches the light without looking brash. The overall effect is refined and country-house in mood, while still feeling airy enough for patterned seating or statement drapery.

How to use it

Use it on a chaise, slipper chair or dining seat where the pearl ground can lift a darker scheme. It also pairs beautifully with natural oak, aged brass and painted trim in chalky whites or soft sage.

The pearl ground keeps the brocade feeling light and elegant, with soft gold detailing that suits classic rooms.
