About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 800 gsm, giving the visible cloth a dense, upholstery-led presence. Fine horizontal strokes in old gold interrupt the red ground, forming uneven, softly weathered columns rather than a hard-edged geometric grid. The pattern repeats every 37 cm vertically and 71 cm horizontally across the 142 cm usable width. With 66 threads per cm and a 25 m standard length, it offers a richly built, strongly directional surface.

How to use it

Use the warm wine-red ground on a statement sofa, occasional chair or ottoman, where the old-gold striations can add layered texture without introducing a separate motif. Pair it with aged timber, deep brown leather or muted brass to echo the colourway’s earthy depth.
