Husk

2026 Paint PaintZOP1066-35

The house has discontinued this one. We are keeping the page so the link still works, but we can no longer order it. There are alternatives below, and if you have a cutting or a photograph we will help you match it.

Husk is a gentle, grounded beige from Zoffany’s 2026 Paint range. It brings a quiet warmth that sits between stone and biscuit, with enough depth to feel settled rather than pale.

About this colour

This shade reads as a warm beige with a subtle pink-brown undertone, so it feels soft and composed rather than yellow or grey. On a wall it lifts light gently without losing its colour, giving a room a calm, upholstered look in the finishes listed. In a north-facing room it can edge slightly cooler and more muted, which makes the brown warmth more noticeable; in south-facing light it turns creamier and fuller. It sits well beside natural oak, walnut and dark stained woodwork, and it gives a good backdrop for linen, mohair and muted patterned curtains in tobacco, taupe or olive tones.

How to use it

Husk suits sitting rooms, studies and bedrooms where you want the walls to feel warm and restrained. It works neatly with painted or stained woodwork in deeper brown tones, and beside upholstered pieces in oatmeal, camel, rust or softened green.

A warm beige like Husk settles a room without making it feel dark.

Order it with the cloth

A pot comes off the same order as the fabric, so the wall and the chair in front of it are chosen together. The making is ours: cut, sewn and fitted in our own Heybridge workshop, with Simon over every stage.

Pairs well with

Husk is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
