About this colour

This shade reads as a warm beige with a subtle pink-brown undertone, so it feels soft and composed rather than yellow or grey. On a wall it lifts light gently without losing its colour, giving a room a calm, upholstered look in the finishes listed. In a north-facing room it can edge slightly cooler and more muted, which makes the brown warmth more noticeable; in south-facing light it turns creamier and fuller. It sits well beside natural oak, walnut and dark stained woodwork, and it gives a good backdrop for linen, mohair and muted patterned curtains in tobacco, taupe or olive tones.

How to use it
