About this colour

This shade reads as a gentle warm beige with a muted cream edge, close enough to stone to feel settled but with more softness than a clean neutral. Its #DED5C4 value gives it good light reflection without looking bright, so it lifts a room while still feeling relaxed. In a north-facing room it can turn slightly cooler and more pared back, while in south-facing light it takes on a warmer, sandier character. It works well beside natural oak, painted joinery in deeper neutrals, and upholstery in linen, wool or leather tones that need a quiet backdrop. In Acrylic Eggshell on woodwork it looks crisp but not stark, while True Matt and Elite Emulsion keep the colour soft and even on walls.

How to use it

Pampas suits sitting rooms, bedrooms and hallways where a calm, understated wall colour is needed. It pairs neatly with oak furniture, chalky off-whites and upholstery in tobacco, olive or muted terracotta shades.

Pampas gives a room a soft warm base that feels easy to live with.

Pairs well with

Pampas is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
