Millbrook Silver

Essential Weaves Vol 3 FabricEWV3MILLBROOK

Millbrook Silver shows a fine zigzag weave in a pale silver-grey palette, giving the surface a crisp, lightly textured look. The small-scale geometric repeat reads understated and orderly rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 68% Recycle Polyester, 26% Cotton and 6% Polyester, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for drapes only and has a substantial 225gsm handle. The pattern is a small geometric/abstract zigzag with a 6.5cm vertical repeat and 7.5cm horizontal repeat, creating a tight, rhythmic surface across the width. In this colourway the silver ground feels cool and airy, while the slightly darker grey lines give the design just enough contrast to stay visible without overpowering a room. The 139cm width makes it practical for full-length curtains and structured window treatments.

How to use it

Its cool silver tone works well with pale woods, white paintwork and brushed metals, especially where you want pattern without visual weight. Pair it with deep charcoal or soft blue accents to bring out the crisp zigzag movement.

Use for tailored curtains or blinds where the subtle metallic-looking zigzag adds quiet detail.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Millbrook Silver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
