Hatoum Jacquard Linen

Metropolitan Fabrics FabricCCF0810-02

Hatoum Jacquard Linen is shown here in a warm ivory cream, with softly layered scrolls and painterly taupe and blush marks woven across the surface. Its restrained contrast lets the looping motif read as texture as much as pattern.

About this fabric

The 274gsm cloth has a softly textured jacquard surface, with pale ivory threads forming rounded, curling shapes over a subtly varied ground. Fine taupe-grey outlines and faint blush-beige accents give this colourway a warm, weathered depth rather than a stark cream finish. The 141cm usable width and 65cm vertical by 47cm horizontal repeat allow the pattern to be planned across upholstery or drapery. Supplied in a standard 35m length, it offers useful continuity for larger schemes.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory base with oatmeal, sand and pale timber for a quiet, layered room, or let the muted taupe scrolls sit against deeper mushroom upholstery for more definition. The low-contrast motif is particularly effective where you want softness without a plain fabric.

Use this softly patterned ivory jacquard to bring subtle movement to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
