About this fabric

The colourway combines restrained slate grey with subtle warm taupe and faint blush accents, giving the scrolling jacquard motif a quietly weathered depth. Fine woven lines define the paisley forms while the tonal variation keeps the pattern from reading as flat. At 274gsm and 141cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 65cm vertical and 47cm horizontal repeats create a measured rhythm across curtains, cushions or upholstered panels, with a standard length of 35m.

How to use it

Pair this cool slate-grey colourway with chalky whites, pale timber and soft taupes for a calm, layered interior. The faint blush notes can also be picked up in small accessories to warm the otherwise restrained palette.

Use the cool slate-grey ground to bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hatoum Jacquard Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
