Spectrum Charcoal

Spectrum FabricCCF0227-05

Spectrum Charcoal is a deep, cool grey woven with a fine, close-set surface texture. The almost graphite tone gives the cloth a quiet depth, while the directional surface catches the light softly rather than appearing flat.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke fabric has a usable width of 137cm and a standard length of 40m, making the charcoal colourway practical for coordinated furnishing schemes. A small-scale textured motif runs across the surface, with a vertical repeat of 36.5cm and a horizontal repeat of 34.5cm. At 271gsm, it has a versatile mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The near-black grey reads cool and restrained, with subtle tonal variation visible through the woven texture.

How to use it

Pair Spectrum Charcoal with pale stone, chalky white or soft blue-grey to keep the room balanced and let its graphite depth anchor the scheme. Its understated texture works particularly well on a contemporary chair, headboard, Roman blind or relaxed curtain.

Use this deep charcoal texture to add quiet depth to contemporary upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
