About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has a naturally crisp, slightly slubby look that suits its fresh, pastoral feel. The repeat is approx. V 44cm / H 68cm, with a 136cm width, giving the vertical floral stripe a clear, orderly presence across the cloth. In Giverny Ciel, the ground reads as a soft sky blue with a cool, washed quality, while the blossoms and leaves add touches of ivory, green and deeper blue for gentle contrast. It is a lively but not loud colourway, ideal where you want pattern and colour without weight.

How to use it

Use Giverny Ciel for breezy curtains, roman blinds, or relaxed cushions where the pale blue ground can brighten a room. It works especially well with painted whites, weathered timber, and soft green accents for a fresh, garden-room look.

A fresh sky-blue linen that brings a light, airy country-house feel to curtains or loose upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
