About this fabric
This colourway pairs a rich red ground with pale, pinpoint detailing, so the diamond motif reads clearly without looking heavy. The weave has a slightly textured, natural handle that reflects the mix of 40% viscose, 38% cotton, 18% linen and 4% polyester. With a repeat of approximately V 8cm and H 9cm, the pattern is orderly and close-scaled, making the fabric feel smart rather than bold. At approximately 138cm wide, it is a practical choice for both upholstery and drapery where a neat geometric surface is wanted.
How to use it
Use Millbrook Red on a pair of club chairs, a bench seat or lined curtains where the warm red tone can bring depth to pale plaster, oak or dark timber. It also layers well with stripe, checked linen and aged brass for a collected, traditional room.
A confident red pattern that works beautifully on compact seating or tailored curtains.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Millbrook Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
