Wood Frog Velvet Azul/Forest

Colour 4 Fabrics VelvetHAF0500-02

Wood Frog Velvet Azul/Forest sets small, repeating frog-like botanical motifs against a clear cool aqua-blue ground. Olive green, muted gold and darker brown details give the pattern a gently natural contrast without losing the freshness of the blue.

About this fabric

This Harlequin velvet has a smooth, softly light-catching surface that gives the aqua ground depth while keeping the repeat crisp. The 416 gsm weight makes it a substantial choice for upholstery, with the dense 57.7 threads per cm supporting its rich textile presence. Its pattern repeats every 14.8 cm vertically and horizontally, creating an evenly spaced all-over rhythm of leafy, frog-like forms. A 137 cm usable width and 60 m standard length are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the cool aqua ground on an occasional chair, headboard or compact sofa, pairing it with warm timber and olive or moss accents to draw out the Forest tones. Brass, aged gold and neutral walls will echo the small golden details without competing with the lively repeat.

Use this cool aqua velvet to bring a fresh, patterned accent to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wood Frog Velvet Azul/Forest without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
