About this fabric

The low-contrast grey-and-white palette keeps the concentric pattern gentle rather than stark, while the textile surface has a lightly tactile, matte appearance. Its 300 gsm weight and 140 cm usable width make it a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. A 66 cm vertical repeat and 70 cm horizontal repeat give the spirals a clear, measured rhythm when the fabric is joined across a larger surface. The cool steel tone reads particularly clean and understated, allowing the white markings to catch the light without becoming high-contrast.

How to use it

Use Fractal Steel to bring a cool, airy note to a tailored armchair, headboard or full-length curtain. Pair its soft steel-grey ground with warm ivory, pale timber and brushed metal to balance the patterned surface.
