Chaconia Amber/Slate

Idyllic Fabrics FabricHAF0198-02

Chaconia Amber/Slate features an airy botanical arrangement on an ivory ground, with slender slate branches carrying small leaves in amber, taupe and soft grey. The open spacing gives this colourway a light, gently weathered character.

About this fabric

The fine botanical trails run diagonally and vertically across the ground, with slate-blue stems balancing the warmer amber and taupe leaf marks. Its 68 cm vertical repeat and 137 cm horizontal repeat create a broad, measured rhythm across the cloth. At 100 gsm, with 106.6 threads per cm, this is a lightweight fabric suited to fluid drapery rather than heavy upholstery. The fabric has a usable width of 137 cm and a standard length of 40 m.

How to use it

Pair the ivory base with pale walls and natural timber, then draw out the slate details with cool grey accents and the amber leaves with muted ochre or tan accessories. It works particularly well as relaxed full-length curtains where the open branch pattern can be seen clearly.

Use the ivory ground to keep rooms light, while the slate branches and amber leaves add a softly muted accent.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
