Chaconia Lagoon/Linden

Idyllic Fabrics FabricHAF0198-01

Chaconia Lagoon/Linden spreads slender blue-grey branches and small linden leaves across a clean white ground. The cool lagoon marks give the botanical drawing a delicate, lightly watercolour-like character, while the muted green leaves add gentle contrast.

About this fabric

This fine 100 gsm fabric has an airy appearance in the swatch, with open white space around the branching stems, blue-grey berries and softly varied linden leaves. Its 137 cm usable width and 68 cm vertical by 137 cm horizontal pattern repeat present the design as a broad, flowing botanical rather than a compact all-over texture. The pale ground keeps the colourway bright, while the cool lagoon blue-grey provides definition and the olive-linden accents bring a restrained warmth. With 106.6 threads per cm, the surface reads as finely constructed rather than heavily textured.

How to use it

Use Lagoon/Linden for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its white ground can brighten the room and its blue-grey stems can connect with cool painted walls. Pair the linden leaves with pale olive or natural wood accents, keeping surrounding upholstery quiet so the fine branching pattern remains clear.

The airy 100 gsm cloth and pale ground suit softly gathered curtains or relaxed blinds, letting the fine blue-grey stems and linden leaves remain legible.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
