Daisy & Oak Madder/Teal

The Unfinished Works Wallpapers WallpaperMOW0127-03

Daisy & Oak Madder/Teal brings a dense, symmetrical botanical arrangement to a warm cream ground. Deep teal foliage frames coral-madder flowers, while ochre blooms and fruit-like forms add a softly aged golden note.

About this fabric

The design is filled with curling stems, pointed leaves, stylised tulips, small flowers and rounded ochre forms, creating a substantial large-scale impression across the sheet. Its 52 cm usable width and 41 cm vertical repeat allow the balanced arrangement to read clearly when hung. Supplied at 150 gsm in a standard 10.05 m length, this is a wallpaper specification rather than an upholstery textile. The colourway feels warm and heritage-led, with the cream ground lightening the depth of the teal and tempering the coral and ochre accents.

How to use it

Use it behind a bed, in a dining room or across a feature wall where the warm cream ground can balance painted teal, muted coral or natural wood. Pick out the ochre details with aged brass or golden timber rather than bright yellow.

Use this richly coloured botanical paper to bring warm cream, teal, madder and ochre accents together in a traditional or collected room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
