Busybees cream
Edenmuir Fabricbusybee/fao/lin
Busybees Cream has a soft, airy cream ground scattered with small bee motifs in muted yellow, charcoal and grey. The result is calm and understated, with just enough detail to give the fabric character without disturbing the lightness of the overall look.

About this fabric
Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has the natural, softly textured feel you would expect from a mid-weight decorative cloth. The 230gsm handle and 138cm usable width make it a practical choice for curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings, while the 28cm horizontal and 35cm vertical repeat keep the bee motif neatly spaced across larger drops. On the surface, the pale cream background reads warm rather than stark, so the little bees stand out gently instead of appearing high-contrast. Dry clean only and iron safe, it is an easy fabric to keep looking crisp in a well-dressed room.
How to use it
Use Busybees Cream where you want a light, country-house feel without introducing strong colour. It works especially well with painted woodwork, pale oak and soft greens, letting the tiny bee pattern add interest to relaxed curtains or Roman blinds.
A gentle cream ground keeps the tiny bee motif light and easy to place in classic country-inspired schemes.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Busybees cream without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
