Barneby Stripe Honey/Teal

Sanderson x National Trust Volume II FabricSAF0498-02

Barneby Stripe in Honey/Teal pairs a warm honey ground with slender teal pinstripes for a fresh, tailored look. The narrow vertical rhythm feels clean and ordered, with just enough colour contrast to keep the stripe lively.

About this fabric

This woven fabric has a bright honey-gold base punctuated by fine teal stripe detailing, giving the surface a crisp, slightly heritage feel. The design repeats vertically every 0.8 cm, while the stripes sit 8 cm apart horizontally, creating a neat, measured pattern that reads clearly across the width. At 275 gsm and 139.5 cm wide, it feels substantial enough for upholstery as well as curtains, especially where a smart, structured stripe is wanted. The tonal warmth of the honey ground softens the cooler teal, so the colourway feels inviting rather than hard-edged.

How to use it

Use it on a slipper chair, bench cushion or tailored curtains where the honey tone can warm oak, rattan and painted wood. It works especially well in rooms that need a little brightness without losing a traditional, composed feel.

A crisp stripe that brings warmth and structure to classic schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Barneby Stripe Honey/Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
