About this colour

This shade reads as a muted, warm olive with a pale golden cast, shown clearly in the hex value #D2CDA5. It lifts a room without turning bright, so it feels gentle rather than crisp, and it holds its colour well on both wall and woodwork surfaces in Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion and True Matt. In north-facing light it can look a little more green and subdued, bringing a cooler room back into balance. In south-facing light the yellow warmth comes forward, making it feel softer, richer and more sunlit. It sits neatly beside natural oak, dark stained timber, faded green upholstery, mushroom linens and deeper olive or brown tones.

How to use it
