About this colour

This shade reads as a soft, creamy grey-beige with enough white in it to stay light on the wall. Its #ECE4D9 value gives it a lifted, airy look, while the warm undertone stops it from turning cold. In north-facing rooms it can look slightly more muted and sandy, with the grey side showing through more clearly. In south-facing light it becomes warmer and more biscuit-toned, reflecting daylight softly rather than bouncing it brightly. It sits well beside natural oak, pale painted joinery, linen-coloured upholstery and deeper taupes.

How to use it
