About this colour

This shade reads as a warm, light beige with a gentle greige undertone, lifted enough to keep it from feeling heavy but soft enough to avoid any chalkiness. In north-facing light it can look slightly cooler and more muted, with the pale taupe side becoming clearer; in south-facing rooms it turns warmer and more luminous, with the creamy notes coming forward. Against painted joinery it works well with deeper browns, soft blacks and muted greens, and beside upholstery it sits comfortably with linen, camel, mushroom and faded olive. In Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion or True Matt, it stays calm and even across wall and woodwork.

How to use it

Sheep Skin suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where you want a pale background that does not feel sharp. It works well beside natural oak, walnut-toned woodwork and upholstery in sandstone, oat and warm grey shades.

A calm warm neutral that brings a soft, even light to the wall.

Pairs well with

Sheep Skin is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
