About this colour

This shade, #C3C6BB, sits between grey and green with a slight mineral cast, so it lifts a room gently without feeling pale. In north-facing light it can read cooler and more silvery, with the green edge becoming subtler and the grey taking over. In south-facing light the warmth in the room softens it, bringing out a calmer sage-like note while still keeping the colour muted. It sits well beside pale oak, walnut, blackened metal and natural linens, and it gives a clean backdrop to upholstery in deeper greens, taupes and muted blues. As a wall colour or on joinery, it stays composed in all three finishes: Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion and True Matt.

How to use it
