About this colour

This shade reads as a muted olive with a beige cast, so it feels grounded rather than fresh or sugary. In north-facing light it can turn cooler and a little more mineral, bringing out the green-grey side of the colour. In south-facing rooms it warms gently and shows more of its almond and clay notes, which makes it feel fuller on the wall. It works well beside natural oak, dark walnut, linen-toned upholstery and deeper greens, where its softness gives those materials room to stand out.

How to use it

Green Almond suits sitting rooms, dining rooms and calm bedrooms, especially where you want the walls to sit quietly behind patterned curtains or textured upholstery. It also looks good on woodwork with warm timber, antique brass and muted sage or olive accents.
