About this fabric

This is a substantial velvet weighing 994gsm, with 67 threads per centimetre and a 140cm usable width. Its frost-grey tone sits between silver and soft dove grey, reading distinctly cool rather than beige or warm. There is no visible motif, and the 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm a plain construction. The close, fine surface catches the light in slightly darker and lighter bands, giving the otherwise restrained colour a quiet sense of movement.

How to use it

Use Frost on a deeply upholstered sofa, headboard or occasional chair when a room needs a pale, cool grey anchor with more tactile depth than a flat woven cloth. Pair it with chalky whites, brushed metal and blue-grey accents for a crisp, quietly luxurious scheme.
