About this fabric

With a substantial weight of 994gsm, this velvet is well suited to upholstery where its dense surface can show off the changing light across cushions, seats and curved forms. The cool quartz tone sits between misty silver and soft slate, giving the colourway a quieter, more architectural mood than a warm grey. Its 67 threads per centimetre contribute to the finely covered appearance visible in the close-up. There is no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, and the fabric has a 140cm usable width with a 35m standard length.

How to use it

Use this cool quartz grey on a deep sofa, reading chair or upholstered headboard, pairing it with chalky whites, pale blue-grey and brushed metal for a calm, contemporary scheme. The velvet’s directional light play can add depth to otherwise tonal rooms without introducing a separate pattern.
