About Voyage Maison
Voyage Maison works in watercolour print design and classic country styling, from an in-house studio in Scotland. Every design is hand painted there by the company's own designers, the printing is done in house, and base cloths are hand selected from mills the company visits in person. It has produced collections with the artists Marie Burke and Darren Woodhead. The company says it has traded for more than twenty years but does not publish a founding year.
It is not an independent house, and it is worth saying so plainly. Riva Home acquired Voyage Maison from Ashley Wilde Group on 5 June 2023, through an entity named RIVA Home Paoletti Ltd; Ashley Wilde had itself bought the brand in 2019. Riva Home is a Leeds home furnishings supplier trading since 1973, and lists Voyage in its own brand portfolio alongside Wylder, Yard and Furn.
That group structure is also why a handful of the fabrics counted on this page carry another name. The ledger we photographed held two Paoletti pieces, three from Wylder and one from Yard. They are counted here because that is where they came from, and there are far too few of them for us to claim we stock those brands.
The specifications are unusually domestic in their emphasis: composition and a washing instruction on almost every piece, then width, usable width, weight and an ironing note. About a quarter carry a Martindale figure. If a print here is going on a seat rather than a window, that is the number we go and find on the book.
