About this fabric

At 730gsm, Dawson Mahogany has a substantial weight suited to upholstery, while the 140cm usable width provides generous coverage for furniture projects. The surface is visually quiet rather than patterned, with fine, uneven horizontal creasing and soft tonal variation across the brown ground. Its mahogany tone leans warm and dark, reading almost espresso-brown in the deeper areas while lighter marks reveal the texture. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm, so the surface does not require motif matching.

How to use it

Use Dawson Mahogany on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard where its warm, near-espresso tone can add depth without introducing a strong motif. Pair it with aged timber, brushed metal or lighter neutral textiles to give the dark brown surface room to stand out.
