Akari Clay
Timo FabricL9427-02
Akari Clay is a soft, pale neutral with a gentle warmth that reads as creamy clay rather than stark white. In this photo it falls in loose, elegant folds, showing a lightly textured surface with a dry, natural handle.

About this fabric
This colourway has a muted warm beige-cream tone with a subtle clay cast, so it feels calm and organic rather than bright. The visible weave is fine and slightly open, which suits the composition of 61% Linen, 30% Paper and 9% Polyester and gives the cloth its softly crisp look. With a width of approximately 310cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is well suited to wide, uninterrupted window dressings. The overall effect is light, airy and quietly textural, with enough body to drape in clean vertical folds.
How to use it
Use Akari Clay for full-length curtains or simple panels where the soft cream tone can lift the room without feeling stark. It sits especially well with oak, travertine, rattan and other natural finishes.
A softly structured neutral that works beautifully for airy curtains and layered natural interiors.

Pairs well with
Akari Clay is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
