Akari Gull

Timo FabricL9427-03

Akari Gull reads as a soft gull-cream with a calm, diffused surface and a light, natural finish. In the photo it hangs in gentle folds, letting the subtle woven texture and linen-rich character show through.

About this fabric

This colourway has a pale, warm cream ground with a faintly heathered, organic look that softens the surface rather than making it look flat. The weave feels dry and natural in appearance, which suits the composition of 61% Linen, 30% Paper and 9% Polyester. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx and a width of 310cm approx, it presents as a broad, uninterrupted cloth ideal for generous drapery or tailored soft furnishings. The tone sits between ivory and stone, giving it an easy, understated brightness without reading stark white.

How to use it

Use Akari Gull where you want a calm neutral that still feels textural, such as relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or simple upholstered pieces. Its soft cream tone works especially well with sand, oak and chalky off-whites.

A quietly textured cream that layers beautifully with pale timber, linen whites and brushed metals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
