Prague Plum

Misc Fabric

Prague Plum is a richly patterned fabric with a deep plum-red ground, punctuated by beige and dark charcoal geometric panels. The mix of woven texture and printed-looking blocks gives it a layered, slightly eclectic character.

About this fabric

This fabric has a 140cm width and a 30cm pattern repeat, with a composition of 48% PES, 43% viscose and 9% cotton. In this colourway, the plum reads dark and saturated, softened by warm beige sections and broken up by narrow black-brown stripes and circular motifs. The surface appears textural rather than flat, which helps the red tones sit with a velvety depth. The structured repeat and substantial fibre mix make it feel most at home on pieces where the pattern can be clearly seen.

How to use it

Use Prague Plum on a statement armchair, headboard or small sofa where the deep red blocks can anchor the room. It pairs well with aged brass, walnut and warm neutrals that pick up the fabric’s beige and charcoal accents.

Best used to add depth and pattern to classic seating or accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
