Burford Stripe Aqua combines a soft, cool aqua ground with repeated cream diamond motifs and slim taupe lines. The closely spaced horizontal pattern gives the swatch a calm, finely textured rhythm.

About this fabric

The pale aqua tone reads as muted and airy rather than bright, with cream and taupe detailing adding gentle definition to each geometric stripe. Its 42% viscose, 28% linen, 26% cotton and 4% polyester composition forms a softly textured woven surface. The fabric is 138 cm wide, with a 19 cm vertical repeat and a 23 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and should not be washed, bleached or ironed; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use this cool aqua colourway to soften a neutral sitting room, pairing its cream diamonds with warm ivory upholstery or pale timber. It also works well as relaxed curtains or a bedspread where the low-contrast stripe can add pattern without overpowering the room.
