Burford Stripe Blue/Green

Burford Weaves FabricBF11034.7

Burford Stripe Blue/Green combines cool blue-grey and softened sage-green threads in closely spaced horizontal bands. Pale ground stripes lift the repeating diamond motifs, giving the woven surface a calm, graphic definition.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven from 42% viscose, 28% linen, 26% cotton and 4% polyester, creating a softly textured surface where the blue-green pattern reads muted rather than bright. Its 138 cm width is arranged with a 19 cm vertical repeat and a 23 cm horizontal repeat, defining the alternating bands and diamond forms visible across the swatch. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, making this a versatile textile for coordinated room schemes. After-care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair the cool blue-green stripe with chalky whites, pale stone and weathered timber for a quietly coastal scheme, or use it against deeper navy accents to draw out the pattern’s blue-grey depth. The measured horizontal layout works particularly well on a tailored headboard, bench or relaxed Roman blind.

Use its cool blue-green geometry to bring tailored pattern and gentle contrast to upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Burford Stripe Blue/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
