About this fabric

Part of the Modena collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and is specified for contract use. It has a high 80,000 Martindale rub test, making it well suited to hard-working upholstery schemes. The image shows a muted grey taupe with subtle tonal variation and a lightly speckled, almost chalked appearance that keeps the surface from reading flat. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it can also be professionally dry cleaned in situ or washed at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance.

How to use it

Use this restrained grey-brown tone on banquettes, lounge chairs or contract seating where you want a calm, tailored look. It pairs neatly with pale oak, concrete, black metal and cooler neutrals.

A cool taupe plain that works well on tailored seating and contract schemes.
