About this fabric
Omega Velvet 4 from Linwood is a velvet in a practical 137cm width, woven in 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose. This Winter Moss colourway has a subdued green tone with an earthy, slightly greyed undertone, so the pile catches the light in a gentle way rather than flashing. With a 100,000 Martindale rub test and contract/general domestic upholstery grading, it is well suited to hard-working seating as well as curtains and loose covers. The plain design keeps the focus on the depth of the velvet surface, which looks especially rich in this restrained moss shade. It is flame-retardant to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1, and should be dry cleaned or washed with care at 30C.
How to use it
Use this colourway on a tailored armchair, banquette or fixed upholstery where its cool green tone can read as sophisticated and calm. It also makes a handsome curtain when you want a deeper natural shade that softens daylight without feeling heavy.
