About this fabric

This Voyage Maison fabric from the Misc collection is composed of 80% polyester and 20% cotton, with a substantial 370gsm weight and a Martindale rating of 100000, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. In this colourway, the surface appears smooth and finely woven, with a matte finish that softens the purple tone rather than making it look glossy or bright. The shade feels muted and slightly dusky, so it reads more tailored than vivid, and the lack of pattern repeat keeps the focus on its tonal depth. It is dry clean only and should not be ironed, and the fabric is supplied at 138cm wide.

How to use it

Use Lapis Purple where you want colour with restraint: it suits tailored sofas, enveloping armchairs, and full-length curtains in a smart sitting room. The dusky plum tone pairs especially well with pale neutrals, smoked woods and aged brass.

A rich, muted purple that works well across polished upholstery and elegant window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
