Jamandi Stripe Madder/Indigo

Sabu Stripes and Ikats FabricSAF0532-02

Jamandi Stripe Madder/Indigo shows a lively vertical stripe with warm coral-madder ground and slim indigo accents. The cream and blue detailing keeps the pattern crisp rather than heavy.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 139 cm and a 205 gsm weight, giving it a versatile mid-weight handle for upholstery or drapery. The design repeats at 8.5 cm vertically and 12 cm horizontally, and the narrow stripe structure is clearly visible in the swatch. In this colourway, the madder ground reads as sun-warmed coral with a soft terracotta cast, while the ivory stripes and tiny indigo marks add a fresher, cooler counterpoint. The finish looks neatly woven with good definition, so the pattern keeps its rhythm without appearing overly busy.

How to use it

The warm coral tone works well in rooms that need colour without losing softness, especially alongside pale timber, oatmeal linen or painted whites. Use it for tailored blinds, upholstered dining chairs or a statement footstool where the indigo detail can read clearly.

Use it to bring a warm, easygoing stripe with a crisp indigo accent into a layered scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jamandi Stripe Madder/Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
