About this fabric

Woven in 85% cotton and 15% linen, this fabric has the handle and substance to suit severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a reassuring 45,000 rub test and a 140cm width. The olive base is earthy rather than bright, so the repeating diamond-and-medallion motif stands out in cream, pale sage and inky blue without feeling sharp. Its 364gsm weight and traditional style give it enough presence for structured curtains or statement seating, while the pattern repeat of 69.5cm vertical and 68.5cm horizontal supports the bold, ornamental rhythm seen in the swatch. Made in Spain, it has a textured, tailored feel that suits interior schemes needing colour with some depth.

How to use it

This colourway works well with natural timber, worn brass and warm neutrals, where the olive ground can stay calm and the blue accents add contrast. It is especially effective in sitting rooms, hallways or dining spaces where a smart traditional pattern can carry the scheme.
