Rowland Moss

Burlington FabricCCF0610-07

Rowland Moss is a deep, muted moss-olive textile with a finely textured surface that shifts gently between olive and brown-grey in the light. Its close-up weave gives the colour a softly variegated, tactile character rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

At 418gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric well suited to upholstery, with enough visual depth to give furniture a quietly tailored finish. The surface shows a fine, closely spaced diagonal texture, creating delicate tonal movement across the moss-olive ground. It has a 143cm usable width and a 3cm horizontal repeat with no vertical repeat, so the subtle texture can be handled economically across upholstered panels. The standard length is 30 metres.

How to use it

Use Rowland Moss to bring a grounded, slightly earthy green to sofas, footstools or dining chairs, pairing it with walnut, aged brass, oatmeal linen and warm stone shades.

Use this muted moss-olive upholstery on occasional chairs, sofas or dining seats with warm woods and natural finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
