About this fabric

This Burlington colourway combines muted flax-beige with slim pale lines, creating a small-scale check with gentle contrast rather than a bold graphic effect. At 415gsm, it has the substantial weight expected of an upholstery fabric and is well suited to seating applications. The pattern repeats every 7.5cm vertically and 8cm horizontally, keeping the grid consistent across the 144cm usable width. Supplied in a standard 30m length, Thornton Flax offers a practical quantity for coordinated upholstery work.

How to use it

Use the warm flax-beige tone to soften armchairs, dining seats or a compact sofa, especially alongside natural timber, oatmeal textiles and aged brass. The fine pale grid adds definition without overpowering a room built around quiet neutrals.
