Thornton Pebble has a softly weathered taupe-grey ground, overlaid with a fine, evenly spaced windowpane check. The muted pebble tone gives the woven surface a calm, quietly architectural character.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven in a small-scale check, with pale intersecting lines creating approximately 7.5cm vertical and 8cm horizontal repeats. Its 415gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while the 144cm usable width supports practical cutting for seating and other covered pieces. The taupe-grey colour sits between warm grey and stone, with subtle tonal variation in the weave that keeps the grid from looking stark. A standard length of 30m is supplied for larger upholstery schemes or coordinated runs.

How to use it

Use Thornton Pebble on a tailored armchair, dining chair or sofa where its soft stone-taupe tone can sit comfortably with timber, chalky paint and darker grey accents. The small check adds definition without overwhelming a compact room.
