About this fabric

This 418gsm woven fabric has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while the small-scale diagonal structure remains understated rather than decorative. The 143cm usable width provides generous coverage for upholstery work. Its pattern repeat is 0cm vertically and just 3cm horizontally, so the surface reads almost as a continuous texture when applied. In the swatch, the pale taupe-grey ground catches the light subtly, with fine darker threads creating a restrained herringbone-like depth.

How to use it

Use Rowland Pebble on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its soft taupe-grey tone can lighten the room without feeling stark. Pair it with warm ivory, chalk, natural timber and muted stone shades to echo its gentle warmth.

A pale pebble taupe with a refined diagonal weave, well suited to upholstered seating and calm neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
