About this fabric

The 418gsm weight gives this Burlington fabric a substantial, upholstery-suited handle, while the dense vertical texture keeps the surface understated rather than flat. Cranberry reads as a softened red rather than a bright scarlet, with cooler mauve and plum notes showing between the darker and lighter threads. The usable width is 143cm, with a standard length of 30m. Its pattern repeat is 0cm vertically and 3cm horizontally, consistent with the close, almost plain-textured effect visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this muted cranberry upholstery on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its berry depth can sit against warm timber, aged brass or soft neutral walls. The fine vertical texture brings quiet richness without introducing a prominent printed pattern.

A substantial cranberry upholstery cloth with a finely vertical, softly variegated weave that adds depth without a bold motif.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
