About this fabric

The densely woven face combines olive, khaki and faint grey-green threads, creating a softly variegated colour that changes gently as the light catches the weave. Its fine broken-diagonal texture reads as a subtle herringbone effect rather than a bold pattern. At 418gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery, with a 143cm usable width. The design has a 0cm vertical repeat and a compact 3cm horizontal repeat, and is supplied in a standard 30m length.

How to use it

Use Rowland Olive on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm, subdued green can anchor cream, natural timber and aged brass. Its low-contrast texture also suits larger upholstered pieces without making the muted olive tone feel heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
