About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland colourway has a 137 cm usable width and a 35 cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the stripe easy to work across larger runs. Its 30,000 Martindale and Heavy Domestic grading support upholstery as well as drapery and accessories, and it can be treated for FR use on both curtains and seating. Visually, the narrow mineral-grey bands read cool and understated, with just enough tonal variation to keep the stripe from looking flat. The pale ground lifts the design, so the overall impression stays fresh rather than heavy.

How to use it

Use it where you want a disciplined, airy stripe that will not overwhelm a room: on a tailored armchair, Roman blind or full-length curtain. The cool grey tone sits well with pale oak, chalk white and stone finishes.
