About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland colourway has a clean ivory base with alternating mulberry stripes that read warm, rosy and slightly muted rather than bright. The vertical pattern repeat is 35cm, giving the stripe a regular, composed rhythm across the 137cm usable width. Its Heavy Domestic upholstery grade and 30,000 Martindale make it suitable for everyday seating, while treatable FR suitability extends its use to curtains and decorative soft furnishings. The visible surface has a neat, fine weave with enough structure to hold the stripe clearly and keep the overall look smart.

How to use it

Use it on upholstered chairs, blind trims or cushion covers where the mulberry stripe can sharpen a pale scheme. It works especially well with chalky whites, soft oak and dusky berry accents.

Fresh mulberry striping gives this cotton a crisp, tailored feel for curtains or upholstery accents.
