About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland fabric has a fresh, matte handle that suits relaxed interiors as well as tailored schemes. The design repeats every 35cm horizontally, creating alternating narrow and broader slate stripes with a lightly wavy outline that reads clearly across the 137cm usable width. With a Heavy Domestic upholstery grade and a Martindale rating of 30,000, it is suitable for upholstery, drapery and accessories, and can also be treated for FR drapery and upholstery. The cool grey lines sit cleanly against the pale ground, giving the cloth a crisp, contemporary contrast rather than a warm or rustic feel.

How to use it

Use it on a neat occasional chair, roman blinds or full-length curtains where the stripe can bring order and lift to a room. It works especially well with pale oak, brushed chrome and other cool neutrals.
