About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester, Helmsley Grey has the tactile look of a sturdy everyday fabric, with a visible cross-weave that adds depth and a slightly slubbed, grainy surface. The grey reads cool and softened, with lighter silvered threads lifting the cloth and deeper charcoal flecks giving it a mottled, naturalised appearance. At 140cm wide, it offers practical coverage for larger upholstery or soft-furnishing projects, and the Iron Safe finish adds convenience when making up. Spot clean only and not fire retardant, it is best chosen for interiors where a relaxed, textured grey is the goal.
How to use it
Use this cool grey as a neutral base on a sofa, bench cushion or headboard, then layer in white, black or pale timber for contrast. Its muted tone also works well beside soft blues and weathered oak for a calm, contemporary scheme.
