About this colour

This shade reads as a soft, warm beige with a gentle yellow undertone, close to the colour of well-washed linen rather than a bright cream. At #EBE4D4 it lifts the room without looking sharp, so it reflects light softly and keeps walls looking calm. In a north-facing room it can feel a little more muted and sandy, with the warmth taking the edge off cooler light. In south-facing light it becomes brighter and more golden, but still stays understated beside natural oak, painted joinery, and upholstery in oatmeal, stone, or muted green. In Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion, or True Matt, it suits both walls and woodwork where a quieter, warmer neutral is needed.

How to use it
